WIZ KHALIFA REVEALS ALBUM TITLE AND RELEASE DATE!!!


Wiz Khalifa took to his Twitter account last night (Wednesday) , to annouce the title to his Atlantic records debut and reveal its release date: "Rolling Papers: March 29". The news is sure to add more buzz to Khalifa's already-highly anticipated album. The rapper is riding high off the success of his hit "Black and Yellow", which peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Papers is slated to feature appearances by Snoop Dogg, Curren$y, and production by The Neptunes and Jim Jonsin. Other artist/producers have not yet been annouced.

GUCCI'S ICE CREAM TATTOO: REALLY COOL OR REALLY DUMB?


Rapper, Gucci Mane has made headlines this week, when photos of his latest tattoo leaked onlne (January 13). The photo revealed an Ice Cream cone located on the right side of his face. The shocking photo had many fans, critics and rappers questioning the reasoning behind the new ink work. A rep for Gucci Mane said: "(the tat) is a reminder to show fans of how (Gooch) chooses to live his life--cool as ice."

Drake was recently was in London, and dropped by Tim Westwood Show to discuss Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter IV, and Kanye West & Jay-Z's Watch The Throne.


ON LIL' WAYNE'S THA CARTER IV: " He's in great mental shape, he's in the zone right now. I've heard alot of music on Tha Carter IV. It's going to be an exciting album...I'll be on (Tha Carter VI), we've done a great song."


ON WATCH THE THRONE: " (Wayne and I) still got to do that album. I hear two other guys are coming out with an album together too. I don't know where they got that idea... I caught wind of it through the grapevine, that there's some other album with two guys on it." (laughs)

KANYE WEST & JAY-Z TO RELEASE FIRST SINGLE "H.A.M." FROM WATCH THE THRONE ON 1-11-11


Kanye West created an alarming buzz at Jay-Z's New Year's Eve party, when he annouced that his collaborative effort with Jay-Z, entitled Watch The Throne was dropping next week. The announcement had many people scratching their heads, wondering why the duo would release such anticipated project with little- to- no promotion. Kanye cleared things up when he took to his Twitter account to tweet the artwork to the duo's upcoming first single, "H.A.M." (which has some saying it's an acronym for Hatin' Ass Muthafuckas) being released next Tuesday (1-11-11). The song is said to be produced by young upstart producer, Lex Luger (Waka Flocka's "Hard In Da Paint" and Rick Ross' "B.M.F."). No released date is set for Watch The Throne, but some close sources say that the album is tentatively scheduled for a March release.

NOTORIOUS B.I.G. UNSOLVED MURDER REOPENED


The unsolved murder of legendary rapper, Notorious B.I.G. will soon be revisited, as new information relating to the slain rapper (born Christopher Wallace), who was gunned down 13 years ago in Los Angeles. CNN reports that investigators are reopening the case in an attempt to find out what happend that night Biggie was murdered. No information is being revealed at the moment, due to the ongoing investigation.
